
The Ekiti State contingent has arrived safely in Abuja for the Basic Education School Sports, following their early morning departure from Ekiti today.
The competition’s opening ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow, November 7th, at the NYSC Camp, Kubwa Abuja.
Ekiti State is poised to shine, building on its impressive football success as one of the top teams from the southwest region, alongside Osun State. This achievement is a testament to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration, which prioritizes sports development and youth empowerment.
Prof Femi Akinwunmi, Chairman of Ekiti State SUBEB, encouraged the students to make Ekiti proud, emphasizing the state government’s unwavering commitment to sports.
