The Chairman of the Ekiti State Karate Association, Adebayo Abiodun Richard, has demonstrated his commitment to the development of karate in the state by sponsoring athletes and officials to attend the Zainab saleh international female karate competition in Lagos.

According to the association’s secretary, Ayodeji Olowolafe, the competition will take place at the Molade Okoya Indoor Sport Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, starting on Friday, October 18th, 2024.

Chairman Abiodun Richard expressed his excitement about the competition, stating that it provides a great opportunity for Ekiti Karate athletes to test their skills against the best in the country.

The sponsored athletes and officials will depart for Lagos on Friday, October 18th, 2024, and return immediately after the competition.

This sponsorship is part of the Chairman’s efforts to promote karate in Ekiti State and provide opportunities for athletes to excel in the sport.
