Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has inaugurated the chairmen of various Sports Associations, Patrons, and Patroness of Ekiti United FC, Ekiti Queens FC, and Ekiti United Feeders in a colorful ceremony at the Governor’s office in Ado Ekiti. This significant event marks a new chapter in Ekiti State’s sports development.

Renowned sports enthusiast Prophet James Omitade was among those inaugurated as Ekiti United Feeders Team Parton. He’s been instrumental in helping basketball players in Ekiti State and is widely recognized for his dedication to sports development. Following the inauguration, Prophet Omitade emphasized the importance of sports in promoting unity, peace, and love among people worldwide.

Sports, especially football, remains a constant symbol of peace, unity, and love amongst the people of the world and a veritable tool for youth development and career path,” he noted.

The Ekiti State Government has been praised for its commitment to sports development, particularly with the establishment of Ekiti United Feeders. The team, formed to discover, nurture, and produce young players for the main team, is set to play its first friendly match against Ifaki United Football Club .
