Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State – The Ekiti State female basketball team has emerged victorious in the highly competitive Hoops & Dreams Nigeria Children’s Day Basketball Championships, held in Oyo State. The team’s impressive performance throughout the tournament earned them a well-deserved championship title.

The competition, which featured teams from various states across Nigeria, was held from May 25th to 31st, 2024, at the Liberty Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State. The Ekiti State team, coached by Mr. Adeyemi Adekunle, demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination, winning all their matches and securing the top spot.

The team’s victory was met with jubilation upon their return to Ekiti State, with fans and supporters gathering to celebrate their achievement.
