
Ekiti State Football Coaches Association Hosts Seminar on Effective Training Session Design
The Ekiti State Football Coaches Association held a seminar on Wednesday, May 22nd, at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, featuring seasoned Coach Tade Gboyega as the guest lecturer.
Coach Gboyega, who holds an AFC ‘B’ Diploma and is a Performance Analyst from Dubai, delivered an insightful presentation on “Designing an Effective Training Session”.
The seminar aimed to equip coaches with the knowledge and skills to plan and conduct productive training sessions, enhancing their teams’ performance. Coach Gboyega shared his expertise, providing practical tips and examples to engage the participants.
Chairman of the association, Coach Mayowa Afolabi, expressed gratitude to the guest lecturer and encouraged his colleagues to apply the knowledge gained to improve their coaching skills. He also took the opportunity to appreciate the Ekiti State Football Association and the Ekiti State Government for their support and commitment to the development of football in the state.
The seminar concluded with the presentation of certificates to participants, recognizing their attendance and commitment to professional development.
