Ekiti State Launches Ambitious Data Collation Drive to Combat Unemployment
In a bold move to tackle unemployment head-on, the Ekiti State Government has initiated a comprehensive data collation drive targeting artisans and unemployed citizens across the state. This ambitious endeavor aims to gather vital information to guide decision-making and develop strategic interventions to address the unemployment challenge effectively.
The data collection process involves a diverse range of stakeholders, including unemployed individuals, market traders, private sector representatives, community leaders, artisans, and persons living with disabilities. With participants aged between 18 and 50 years, the initiative seeks to capture a broad spectrum of the population.
Two registration channels have been established to ensure widespread participation: in-person registration at conventional Local Government offices and online registration via a dedicated website. This dual approach aims to maximize accessibility and encourage broad engagement in the data collection exercise.
Honourable Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment emphasized the importance of this initiative in shaping the future of employment and entrepreneurship in Ekiti State. By leveraging comprehensive data, policymakers can make informed decisions and implement targeted interventions to empower citizens and drive sustainable economic growth.
The state government calls upon all eligible individuals to seize this opportunity and actively participate in the data collation exercise. With a focus on data-driven policymaking and workforce development, Ekiti State is poised to lead the way in addressing unemployment and fostering prosperity for all its citizens.

To register In-Person, there are Desk officers stationed at all Local Government and LCDA offices to assist with registration. And for Online Registration, here is the link https://wealthcreation.ekiapps.ng
