




Ekiti State Shines at Ekus National Judo Championship
Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State – The Ekiti State Judo team has made the state proud by winning a total of three medals at the 3rd Ekus National U-13 and U-17 Judo Championship held in Benin City, Edo State.
The team won one silver medal and two bronze medals in various weight categories, showcasing their skills and determination.
In the U-15 category, Ekiti’s judoka, Ayodele Fatima, 10yeas old won a silver medal, while his teammate, keyode eniola 8years old, took home a bronze medal.
In the U-17 category, Ekiti’s amusan temitope 13years old won a bronze medal
The Ekiti State Judo Association has praised the team for their impressive performance, attributing their success to hard work, dedication, and the support of the state government.
The championship, which took place from April 24 to 27, 2024, featured young judokas from across the country competing in various weight classes.
